"Amargosa" is a wonderful film that was truly a labor of love.  I had the privilege of being the cinematographer for this picture and to work with a couple of filmmakers for whom I have the highest respect, Sidney Sherman & Todd Robinson.

Amy Cook.  What can I say?  Her voice makes my heart smile and the passion she has for her craft makes me believe in music again.  Besides, she's great to hang out with in Park City and a pretty damn good dance partner to boot!  Thanks Amy.

Mammoth Mountain, California is simply the greatest all around ski hill I have had the pleasure of falling down.  I simply love this mountain and the little town that sits at its base.  Ya, I know.  Some folks call it the northern most suburb of LA.  But I suspect those who say such things have never spent much time turning 'em on a powder Wednesday in March.  Keep the faith.  Long boards rule!

Randy Miller is a great composer.  He scored "Amargosa" and "Go Tigers!"  and his contributions are the soul of these films.  I once told Randy that I could photograph the most beautiful scene and be moved.  But if I sat in a darkened room accompanied only by a simple melody, it would bring me to tears.  I won't see a film scored by Randy with anybody from my hockey club.  There's no crying in hockey!

CURT APDUHAN AWARDED 2002 EMMY FOR CINEMATOGRAPHY 2002 Emmy For Outstanding Individual Achievement In A Craft: Cinematography Curt Apduhan, "Amargosa" Sundance Channel.

"Go Tigers" was a blast!  Being the Director of Photography on the film directed by Ken Carlson about the football crazy town of Massillon, Ohio is about as good as it gets for this "jock" who became a cameraman.

Food Rules, the wackest cooking show this side of a basting brush is an addition I can't kick.  I've been helping my buddy Tom Riehl light and shoot his cable access cooking show for years.  I'm sure if I had an agent I would have been advised to resign the show.  But that's  why I don't have an agent.  Tom, thanks for the fun.

Robert Keslow is an all around good guy.  He has be an enthusiastic supporter of my career and has provided cameras for the majority of my projects since 1998.  Leo and the crew at Keslow Cameras have always welcomed me with open arms.  I wonder if it's because I usually show up to camera prep with a couple dozen Krispy Kreme doughnuts.

Arnold Serame is the real deal.  THE up and coming lighting designer of all things live, Arnold is in a class by himself.  The guy designs his shows like a symphony-literally!  Speaking of class, I've never met a guy with more passion for his craft that Arn.  If you need some big time lux, Arnold's THE MAN!
